GHK-Cu reconstitution calculator

Concentration, volume and U-100 units for 50, 100 and 200 mg GHK-Cu vials.

GHK-Cu is the copper complex of the tripeptide glycyl-histidyl-lysine. It is usually sold in larger vials than most research peptides, 50 mg and 100 mg being common, and once reconstituted the solution is a distinct blue. Large vials mean high concentrations, so a milligram-range amount can be only a few units on the syringe.

The calculator below works out the concentration, volume and U-100 reading for any vial size, water volume and amount. The chart compares the water volumes that appear most often for each vial size.

Opened with the setup entered most often in the source calculators. Results are arithmetic from the three numbers entered. U-100 scale: 100 units = 1 mL. Presets are figures reported in published and community sources, offered as shortcuts, not recommendations. The vial label is the number to trust.

Most common setups entered by researchers

193 GHK-Cu calculations, October 9, 2026 to October 18, 2026. The setup entered most often was 50 mg with 2 mL and an amount of 1.7 mg (30.0% of all GHK-Cu calculations).

How the GHK-Cu numbers are worked out

Concentration is vial mass divided by water: 50 mg in 2 mL is 25.00 mg/mL, 50 mg in 3 mL is 16.67 mg/mL.

Volume is the amount divided by the concentration; a U-100 syringe reads 100 units per mL. 1.7 mg from a 50 mg vial at 2 mL is 6.8 units (0.068 mL).

At these concentrations small changes in the reading are large changes in mass, so more water spreads the same amount over more units and makes the scale easier to read.

Research summaries and vendor comparisons for this peptide are collected in a GHK-Cu research overview.

GHK-Cu calculator questions

How many units is 1.7 mg of GHK-Cu from a 50 mg vial?

With 2 mL of water, 6.8 units (0.068 mL). With 3 mL, 10.2 units (0.102 mL). The vial holds about 29.4 amounts of 1.7 mg either way.

How many units is 2 mg of GHK-Cu from a 100 mg vial?

With 2 mL the vial is 50.00 mg/mL, so 2 mg is 4 units (0.04 mL). With 5 mL it is 20.00 mg/mL and 2 mg is 10 units (0.1 mL).

Why is the GHK-Cu syringe reading so small?

A 50 or 100 mg vial in a few mL of water is tens of mg per mL, so a 1 to 3 mg amount is only a few hundredths of a mL. Adding more water lowers the concentration and raises the reading for the same amount.

Does the blue colour matter for the math?

No. The colour comes from the copper complex and has no bearing on the arithmetic. The calculation uses only the vial mass printed on the label, the water volume and the amount.

What GHK-Cu amounts do community sources report?

Community-reported injectable amounts are mostly in the 1 to 3 mg range; 1.7 mg is a figure that appears often, and it is also the amount in the most common setup entered in the calculators the setup data comes from. That is a description of what was entered, not a recommendation.

Is this calculator for topical GHK-Cu products?

No. Creams and serums are labelled by percentage or concentration and are not measured with a syringe. This page covers lyophilized vials reconstituted with a liquid.
